Thermocouple

The Thermocouple is a safety feature on our Ovens that detects if there is enough gas coming through the gas valve.

The two most common issues with the Thermocouple are that it can move when cleaning the machine and during the first cooking process, if it moves too far out of the flame it will assume the burner has gone out and shut down the gas valve. Simply re-position the probe by altering its position on the brass thread so it is nearer the flame will quickly cure this problem.

The Thermocouple can be easily mistaken with the Spark Igniter, the best way to differentiate between the two is the Spark Igniter has a white stem.

The probe and igniter can be found under the protective cover at the same end of the control panel, inside the oven.
