Why no windows?
A window is not easy to incorporate into a double skinned oven and we decided that the safety and insulatory properties of a double skin far outweighed the advantage of a window. Windows get greasy and steam up very quickly making it difficult to see through and they can become brittle when exposed to high temperatures, can crack easily and will burn anyone if inadvertently touched.
When in use the oven is dark inside, so even with a big window and frequently cleaned glass, it’s difficult to see anything inside the oven. It’s much more impressive to open the lid to show customers. The temperature of the oven will drop 60 to 80 degrees if the lid is up for several minutes BUT with our efficient burners and dual skin the temperature will soon return within 10 minutes or so resulting in no noticeable loss of cooking time. (It’s good policy to keep an eye on the meat and frequently check the cooking anyway)

What is your guarantee?
All Tasty Trotter roasting ovens are guaranteed for 12 months against manufacturer’s defects, this of course excludes wearable parts or misuse.

Will you do a deal on price/delivery?
Our roasting machines are around half the cost of anything to a similar specification on the market so sorry, no; we cannot do any deals on price. Carriage is extra at cost but we strongly advise you to come and view the machine prior to purchase so you can see the quality and accessories available. Don’t forget, you are considering a professional, double skinned 98% stainless steel, very large, portable and smart looking machine which will make you good profits for many years to come and will always maintain a good second hand value should you ever decide to retire (which you will do sooner if you buy a Tasty Trotter oven!). Is the machine gas safe?
Yes, the Tasty Trotter Hog Roast Oven is fully gas safe for a year after the invoice date. This may need to be renewed every year for insurance purposes and should be carried out by a registered engineer.
